Responsibilities
Job Summary: Performs research work and prepares financial analysis necessary to make essential corporate planning decisions.Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned as necessary- Manages one or multiple Financial Analysis functions- Responsible for the production or services of the department or area- Hires, fires, promotes, demotes, transfers, disciplines and grants raises or effectively recommends such actions- Leads, coaches and provides effective feedback- Assists in developing budgets and goals- Is the primary supplier of feedback to upper management- Manages one or more multiple work groups or unites in several different areas or a large functional unit- Receives information in the form of objectives and sets goals to meet objectives- Work is reviewed based on meeting objectives- Provides clear objectives and offers support as needed- Expresses how employees impact operational objectives- Completes objectives through lower level supervisors or exempt professionals who have some latitude- Participates in enterprise level or cross-functional projects when necessaryEducation and Experience preferred - A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 8+ years financial analysis experience including 1-2 years experience managing a Planning / Analysis function- Advanced PC skillsKey Competencies preferred - Advanced analytical and project management skills- Advanced written /verbal communication and presentation skills- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in one-on-one and group situations, with the ability to effectively work within all levels of the organization- Demonstrated success in working complex issues with senior management utilizing highly developed influencing skills- Advanced facilitation skillsPhysical and Other Requirements- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or airplane with overnight stays- Sit for an extended period of time- Hand / Finger dexterity- Work extended hours07-2011
