As an Associate I&R Research Analyst, you'll provide administrative, analytical, and investment research support to the Investment Office in the management of the H-E-B Savings & Retirement (S&R) Plan. The S&R Plan is a participant-directed 401(k) plan with three internally managed global asset allocation funds, four index funds, and a money market fund.Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to apply our People First mindset to planning and decision-making?We are looking for: - Bachelor's degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experienceWhat is the work? - Performs basic activities to support various departmental functions, such as money movement, invoice payments, data review / verification, Plan accounting- Supports external service providers (e.g., custodian, recordkeeper, and investment consultant)- Administratively support Director, I&R; Manager I&R; and Plan Trustees- Participates in the review of current and prospective investment managers- Prepares materials for quarterly Investment Committee meetings- Assists with annual Plan audit, financial statements, and regulatory filings- Ensures compliance with internal control procedures and DOL, ERISA, and IRS regulationsWhat is your background?- Bachelor's degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 0+ years of experience in an investment organization, preferably institutional- Interest in professional designation (e.g., CFA, CAIA)Do you have what it takes to be an H-E-B Associate I&R Research Analyst? - Strong PC / software skills, including Microsoft Office; ability to use a variety of investment-related software applications- Good communication skills- Good analytical and time-management skills; attention to detail- Visual acuity for working with spreadsheets and detailed documentsCan you... - Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Work extended hours and / or sit for extended periods12-2024
