As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll deliver products that ensure a compelling digital experience for our retail Customers or help arm H-E-B Partners company-wide with world-class business applications to thrive in their jobs. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to cultivate an intimate understanding of their needs and technology and drive the entire technology project lifecycle to make our digital tools work, whether they’re for Customers in our Stores or in workplaces across the Company. We are looking for:
- Experienced product manager who is curious, empathetic, and data-driven, with strong business acumen related to enterprise organizations, and can apply those skills to the delivery of technology solutions for Partners, Suppliers and Customers
What is the work?
Digital Product Management:
- Serves as subject matter expert on owned product area(s), related product area(s), and department.
- Accesses / organizes data; builds analyses to understand financial impact of business opportunity and proposed solutions.
- Builds and owns product roadmaps.
- Collaborates with stakeholders’ company-wide to understand / document needs to ensure technology supports promotional goals.
- Test and deploy new features, such as new offer types or personalized offer capabilities.
- Identify gaps in system functionality and work with vendors or Engineering to address them.
- Develop best practices encompassing digital security, governance where applicable, for utilizing promotions technology efficiently and effectively.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on operations of promotions platforms, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Flexes existing processes to maximize outcomes; identifies critical risks and dependencies; anticipates / resolves critical team issues with little escalation.
- Drives teams to demonstrate high velocity, efficiency, and morale; ensures team consistently meets commitments.
- May mentor an individual or small team of product managers or business analysts in the related domain, based on the needs of the business and/or Product.
- Lead training sessions for partners on promotions tools, such as offer creation/execution, or campaign management platforms.
What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management / development related experience (e.g., retail, finance, marketing, computer science, design)
Do you have what it takes to be an H-E-B Senior Product Manager?
