We are looking for:- a bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction science, or comparable experience- 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting, or engineering- expert understanding of Autodesk Revit 2017 or later and related software- Autodesk Revit 2019 certificationWhat is the work?Administration / Management:- Manages Revit software input and selection including incorporation of version releases and customization of the product including the implementation of supporting software for Revit (or other similar software)- Develops and assists in shaping the future of Revit initiatives and developments- Assists in linking Revit with other database / software interfaces (e.g., submittals, reports, construction administration tools, shop drawings, schedules)- Evaluates / recommends necessary Revit add-ons- Investigates root causes of hardware / software issues- Resolves Revit design issues- Identifies / proposes ideas for process improvement or design strategy- Serves as liaison with corporate technology team, consultants, and vendors; coordinates systems integration- Serves as liaison for BIM processes for future planning / potential uses for BIM, sustainable design, planning, 3D renderings, facilities management, cost estimating, specification management, integrated project delivery, digital prototyping and digital fabrication and modularization- Serves as BIM 360 Account Administrator- Educates internal team, new hires, and external Partners as needed; supports onboarding, training, and evaluation processes for assigned consultant partners- Automates routines in Revit to support standards and productivity- Assists with creation of template standards, and modeling and detail work- Ensures adherence to Revit standards in the overall model creation- Provides hardware and network support related to Revit / other BIM software, in conjunction with IS; coordinates needed hardware upgrades with IS- Provides support for plotting and file submissions- Supports satellite offices / other departments, as neededProject Management:- Writes BIM execution plans for each project; assists project teams with Revit project setup; creates Revit families as needed- Supports project standards with internal / external users- Manages coordination, schedules, project documentation, and issue resolution with internal partners and external consultants for assigned programs- Monitors scope requirements; documents approved change requests; coordinates implementation of changes across assigned projects and programs- Manages design / document production processes with external consultants; ensures projects remain on schedule and within established budgetWhat is your background?- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction science, or comparable experience- 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting, or engineering- Experience / expertise in Autodesk Revit 2017 or later- Autodesk Revit 2019 certificationDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Senior Design Technology Administrator?- Expert knowledge of building design and construction industry- Knowledge of the retail industry a plus- Expert knowledge of Autodesk Revit 2017 or later- Understanding of construction materials, methods, project phasing from real estate acquisition to completed construction- Advanced computer / PC skills, including MS Office, Revit, Autodesk Building Design Suite 2019, Adobe, PC - iMac interface, web-enabled applications, database software, and BIM organization, formatting, and standardization- Advanced verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Problem-solving and decision-making skills- Critical / analytical thinking skills- Leadership / persuasion skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects; attention to detailCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays (rarely)- Work extended hours11-2018
