Our eCommerce Fulfillment Centers (eFC) are centralized spaces that help fill Curbside and Home Delivery orders, and our eCommerce Forecast & Replenishment team determines the most efficient and cost-effective ways to do so. We analyze and determine what item assortment to carry, how much inventory to hold, and when to carry specific items in our eFulfillment Centers.As an Associate eCommerce Inventory Analyst, you'll analyze relevance, performance, and cost of various inventory solutions to define assortment and maintain inventory levels for eFCs. HEAD FOR BUSINESS... good judgement--you can troubleshoot moderately complex issues independently?PASSION FOR RESULTS... capacity to learn and utilize new analytical skills and tools?We are looking for:- a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 1+ year of relevant experienceWhat is the work?Analytics:- Analyzes order trends, capacities, seasonality, store performance, and cost comparisons to help define eFC assortment- Analyzes historical data and current trends to learn to identify risks / opportunities; identifies high-sellers and forecasts as necessary- Supports / may conduct analysis to identify opportunities and spearhead projects to improve inventory and service level for assigned commodity (order increments, inventory flow / timing, etc.)- Maintains demand / replenishment tools to achieve inventory and service level objectives- Uses reporting, roadmaps, and capacity tools to help influence business decisions, and as neededInventory Management:- Monitors / maintains eFC inventory levels with a goal of performance at or above benchmark service levels- Manages end-to-end inventory of assigned commodities through item lifecycle, including turn, safety stock, promotional, and seasonal inventory; adjusts on-hand capacity as needed; ensures appropriate maintenance to reduce code date shrink on perishable goods- Develops a working knowledge of store types / attributes required to tailor allocations accordingly- Monitors daily SRS orders to ensure no ordering issues- Assists in end-to-end process to launch new eFCs; supports processes to meet on-time execution and go-live- Supports rollout plans to turn on items for replenishment- Executes loss-minimizing strategy for deadstock removal; analyzes root cause of deadstock generation; improves processes to reduce occurrence- Communicates inventory and service level exceptions / issues as appropriate- Develops productive relationships and communications with H-E-B suppliers and vendors- Partners with eCommerce Business Managers to understand promotion plans and adjust inventory levels to account for customer demand changes- Partners with DSD vendors to set delivery schedules and operate within eFC constraints- Partners with eStore Operations and other H-E-B teams to schedule in-store production planning supporting eFC- Partners with eFC Operations to describe how process execution impacts inventory levels- Supports initial seeding and item setup for new eFC launchesWhat is your background?- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 1+ years of experience in supply chain, retail operations, or business functions, or a related area with H-E-B- Project management experienceDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an Associate eCommerce Inventory Analyst at H-E-B?- Knowledge of inventory management tools- Proficiency in MS Office- Verbal / written communication and presentation skills- Analytical skills- Negotiation skills- Project management skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between projects / tasksCan you...- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment- Travel by car or plane with overnight stays- Sit for extended periods- Work extended hours and / or rotating schedules08-2019
