Responsibilities
As a Privacy Analyst, you will support ongoing activities related to H-E-B's Privacy Program, including Texas privacy law compliance. You will serve a key program oversight role, enabling H-E-B to meet compliance obligations, including consumer rights requests.Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. What is the work?Analytics / Compliance:
- Analyze trends; develop reporting algorithms and models; prepare results; present findings/recommendations to identify compliance issues and risks within the privacy program
- Proactively provide credible, action-oriented analysis and recommendations to privacy office leaders and business management
- Collaborate with cross-functional business units (e.g., Internal Audit, Digital, QA, and Legal) to develop, implement, and monitor privacy office policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Develop, document, and maintain Privacy Office policies and SOPs
- Conducts periodic reviews and year-end audits to ensure efficiency and quality of privacy office processes
- Conducts due diligence of third-party providers of privacy office services and periodic reviews of service level agreements, compliance with contractual terms, and cost tracking
- Manages, coordinates, and documents activity with external parties and regulatory agencies
- Actively participates in industry-related associations and organizations related to privacy
What is your background?
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
- 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably compliance-related
- Experience in budgeting and expense tracking
- International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) CIPP/US certification preferred
