'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that make H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... interpersonal skills?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... knowledge to identify / document functional and non-functional requirements?PASSION FOR RESULTS... self-directed?We are looking for:- 2+ years of experience- Strong Excel, SQL, and analytical skills- Knowledge of project management methodologiesWhat is the work?- Domain expertise - subject matter expert on business processes in the required domain- Documents functional and non-functional requirements- Assists technology teams and business stakeholders in identifying the impact of requests made on projects, and associated applications.- Identifies and communicates scope changes to stakeholders.- Owns, facilitates, develops requirements and user stories so they are readily consumable by software engineers.- Assists in identifying business process development opportunities.- Contributes to Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process refinement, assists in project execution as per SDLC methodology.- Contributes to documentation and training on testing, data, and process analysis for complex programs.Testing / Quality Assurance:- Contributes to end-to-end quality strategy for assigned product and ensuring alignment with project objectives and consistency in execution.- Creates non-functional test cases that will ensure all requirements/user stories are validated with system testing.- Develops functional test cases to ensure software functionality meets specified requirements. Focuses on detailed test case creation for individual features, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.- Contributes to development of unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet requirements. Also manages defect resolution with the developers and communication with the business.- Experience with testing tools or frameworks to create automated testing suites for one or more systems.Technology / Data:- Engages with developers to ensure requirements are understood; helps gather stakeholder input during requirements refining and grooming.- Participates in solution definition and help determine best course of action. - Demonstrates the ability to learn/manage system configuration settings or options for applications that are supported.- Engages with engineers in debugging / troubleshooting issues involving data or the accuracy of data, in day-to-day work and production support scenarios.- Understands the basics of data mapping, data flows and integration points between systems.- Validates data using queries, query tools etc. and understands how it flows end-to-end for a product or group of closely aligned product(s)What is your background?- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience- 2+ years of experience - Experience in business analysis or technology (preferred) - Experience supporting relevant business area preferred (i.e., retail, supply chain, ecommerce, or digital marketing ops)Do you have what it takes to be an H-E-B Business Systems Analyst II? - Working knowledge of applicable software delivery methodologies (i.e., Agile)- Knowledge of project management tools, SQL, and how to build queries independently.- Ability to interact with Professional services, third party.- Basic Excel, SQL, and analytical skills- Strong verbal / written communication- Strong interpersonal skills- Strong problem-solving skillsCan you...- Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.- Work extended hours.SCRUM3232
