Job SummaryThe EDI Support Coordinator provides Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) support, Tier 1 exception management, and associated reporting to operations teams.
Primary Objectives- Promptly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate exceptions.
- Execute reporting and other tasks properly and within required timeframes.
- Communicate effectively to resolve and prevent errors and to improve processes.
Duties and Responsibilities- Effectively use various reporting tools and applications to manage EDI processes, including pre and post translator exceptions.
- Monitor inbound and outbound EDI transactions made to multiple databases and systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve or communicate exception errors to the appropriate trading or internal partners.
- Coordinate with external trading partners on EDI related issues to include requests for files, analysis of files, and other (non-development) EDI matters.
- Research, document, and resolve or escalate EDI errors and system issues using standard operating procedures. Monitor, analyze, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Support the creation and maintenance of reporting, tracking, and other processes related to EDI monitoring and support.
- Support periodic metrics reporting and operational reviews.
- Translate technical language to business terms to facilitate effective cross-functional communication.
- Perform system testing as needed.
- Update schedule, logs, and tasks daily.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Associate degree in Computer Information Systems, Business, or related college coursework preferred
Work Experience- 2+ years' experience in a technical or EDI support or related position or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Experience with scripting, database, applications, and desktop tools preferred
- Experience within the transportation shipping, importing/exporting, or related industry preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Knowledge of EDI Standards, including proprietary files and communications protocols.
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment, prioritize deliverables, and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent quantitative and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to set priorities and complete assignments within established timeframes.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products at the following levels: ? PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Outlook: Basic level of skill ? Excel: Intermediate level of skill
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Proficiency with Microsoft EDI translation tools preferred.
- Knowledge of financial system EDI requirements preferred.

Zone 3: Starting rate $19.00 up to $24.00 for highly qualified candidates
