DescriptionWhat you will do
- Ensure appropriate schedules for the monthly, quarterly, and annual fiscal closings are established and maintained.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for company to be reviewed by Controller.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and other schedules for the audit.
- Adheres to financial control policies and procedures and makes recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Monthly review of designated general ledger accounts. Investigate any variances to properly reconcile accounts.
- Preparation of monthly reports.
- Preparation of monthly cash flow statements and graphs.
- Assist in the preparation, review and approval of journal entries.
- Provide tax related information to Controller for Compliance and Taxation as required.
- Prepare consolidated actual, budget and schedules for monthly management meetings.
- Assist with preparation of 1099 forms at year-end.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required and
- Minimum 3 years in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and financial data analysis. Required and
- Experience with JD Edwards-Enterprise One System or other large ERP system Preferred
- Leadership and personnel development skills and the ability to present at a high level.
- Must be detail oriented and able to work within specified deadlines.
- Advance knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, general ledger, and financial accounting systems.
- Ability to prioritize for self, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to define problems and organize efficient solutions, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including, proficient in use of Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility and time management skills are critical.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and industry professionals.
