Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Site Development Project Manager (Contract) to join our team based in Grand Prairie, Texas.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects for AIRBUS Facilities while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. You will also work frequently with outside contractors to coordinate and interface their work with the operations of the facility.

Your Challenges:
Serve as a liaison outside service providers and contractors used in support of Airbus facilities
Coordinate contractor installation and repairs.
Supervise 3rd parties contracted in frame of facilities project, making work assignments to meet project objectives
Ensuring work is performed to Airbus and city code standards as well any other associated regulatory requirements.
Provides quality control inspections of installations and repairs, which have been completed.
Create and ensure compliance against Site Incident Prevention Plan (SIPP) requirements.
Handle any change orders which may be associated with the projects.
Ensuring the project delivers the expected outcomes and benefits.
Coordinate and connect with Airbus Facilities Management daily.
Participate in recurrent Airbus safety meetings.
Coordinate with Airbus preferred architect service provider including project concepts, final drawings, permit issuance, etc.
Evaluate and measure the evolution of economic and operational performance of potential projects
Monitor projects performance (schedule, costs, quality) and associated risks and mitigation plans.
Develop project scope of work (SOW) and follow Airbus procurement standards for Request for Information (RFI) and/or Call for Tender (CFT)
Lead future CFT for new facility project requiring external services.
Crafting communication plans for project notifications for internal/external Airbus partners
Monitor Projects costs and coordinate with the procurement / accounting departments for project purchase orders, invoices, validation of good receipt.
Handle contractors' contractual obligations (service rendered, invoicing, PO, reporting)
Organize and maintain project documentations and drawings using Airbus electronic retention system.
Including, but not limited to, support for the Facilities Team
On-call assignment based on ongoing project requirement(s)
Your Boarding Pass:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Operations/Project Management/Engineering or related field.
5+ years in Facilities or Construction project management maintenance.
Ability to work with computer applications including Google Suite, building automation systems, and computerized maintenance management systems
The ability to perform, plan, organize, schedule, troubleshoot, and monitor the maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read and understand facility drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation
Able to work in areas with heavy machinery and moving parts and to work at heights from work platforms, ladders and roof of buildings.
Ability to produce results, history of previous successful projects resulting in improved performance and savings for the organization
Ability to communicate well in verbal and written form in English
US Person under ITAR definition (a U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)
<5% domestic travel
Preferred Education/Skills:
Master's Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Operations/Project Management/Engineering or related field
5 years in a trade based on the job training electrical, plumbing, mechanical, construction
10 years in Facilities or Construction project management maintenance.
State license(s) in electrical, plumbing, mechanical or general contracting
OSHA (40-hour training cert)
Electrical, plumbing, mechanical or general construction skills
Ability to operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, tractors, trucks, etc.
SAP
AutoCAD.

- PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visit, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.
