We are looking for:− a related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience− experience in predictive analytics, programming with data-manipulation tools, and managing search functionality in a retail website environment
What is the work?Management / Analytics:− Applies advanced proven analytical and problem-solving techniques and skills to evaluate the overall relevancy of site-wide search results− Oversees critical projects / complex work efforts− Establishes / maintains effective working relationships with teams across the organization− Manages / resolves problems− Maintains product attributes to power faceted navigation and onsite search, ultimately helping customers find products online− Drives improvements and enhancements with onsite search reporting− Develops and maintains the customer-facing hierarchy structure and category specific attribute model− Establishes goals for the department, team, and project− Provides advanced expertise in problem analysis, solution implementation, and ongoing optimization− Stays current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new methodologiesWhat is your background?− A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience− 7+ years of experience in programming with data-manipulation tools (e.g., MS Excel)− 7+ years of experience managing search functionality in a retail website environment− Experience in predictive analytics− Experience working successfully across teamsDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Search & Navigation Analyst Manager?− Deep understanding of onsite search applications and software− Understanding of information retrieval theory and best practices− Excellent analytical and data-manipulation skills− Excellent problem-solving skills− Excellent collaboration skills− Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks / projects; adaptability− Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity− Passion for quality; a high level of intellectual curiosityCan you...− Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment− Travel by car or plane with overnight stays− Sit for extended periods of time− Work extended hours; be on call and available to respond to business or customer-related issues
