What you'll do (Design & Development)
- Take technical direction to learn controls integration and deliver well-scoped work
- Follow the Digital Team processes and standards
- Learn and assist in controls infrastructure architecture and design
- Engage/collaborate with external technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions; may engage with shared services teams and vendors
- Assist in research and fact-finding to modify or enhance systems, integrations, and applications
- Assist Team to configure, enhance/update, maintain, test, and debug building automation systems and integrations
- Assist Team to meet delivery expectations with tight time windows
- Help create technical documentation/training for system enhancements and test scenarios
- Assist with test planning, test case development, and testing
- Assist with implementation, end-to-end system integration, stabilization, and production support transition
- Support implementation of proactive automated system monitoring and alerting solutions
- Stay available to provide support during escalation of incidents
- Assist with documentation and closure of follow-up action items from significant incidents and recurring incidents
- Support implementation of small to medium integrations of building automation systems
Who You Are
- You have a related degree or comparable training, certification, or work experience, preferably in a controls industry
- You have a working knowledge of the construction or Controls, HVAC or Refrigeration
- You may have knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems
- You may have experience in the integration of low voltage building sub-systems
- You have worked with team members to carry a product design from conception into production
- You have the ability to communicate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience
- You have some knowledge with automation/technical aptitude
- You must have the ability to work hybrid; in office, at home and in the field
- You may have experience configuring, enhancing, and maintaining building automation/integration systems
- You may have experience with controls and/or controls integration
- You have a fundamental understanding of the development lifecycle/processes
- You have analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- You have an ownership mentality
- You have highly collaborative and interpersonal skills
- You may have experience with construction/building automation documentation (Blueprints, mechanicals, specifications, etc.)
- You can travel for work
- You strive to manage and maintain relationships with partners, vendors, and business customers
- You may understand protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Networking, etc.
