Position Summary
Our Parflex Division in Stafford, TX is looking for a new Hose Assembler team member to help keep the world moving. You will use your hands and machines to manufacture Parker tubing in a safe and sustainable manner.

Parker's Parflex Division is a leading manufacturer of fluoropolymer tubing and offers multiple secondary processes to meet a wide range of industry and customer needs. Our Stafford, TX plant provides critical equipment for multiple industries including Aerospace and Transportation.
Aspects of Your Work
A Hose Assembler must be capable of performing the following tasks with minimal supervision:
- Perform ordinary set up on special purpose hose assembly machines involving selection and positioning of size dies, check jaws, blocks and special holding devices
- Perform basic assembly/test functions utilizing mechanical skills, hand and power tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures and inspection measurement equipment (i.e. pressure test, saw, hydraulic press, calipers, rulers and height gauge)
- Assemble proper fittings to hose, excerising proper care to avoid excessive pressure and tighten fittings as needed to avoid crossing of threads
- Inspect and test each product produced to proper pressure and ensure quality standards are met, record test results on data forms
- Insert plastic caps on each end of hose to protect end fitting threads
- Interpret engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer sales order sheets, quality directives and record data on applicable forms with signatures as needed
- Assembles, inspects and test hose configurations to product specifications, customer requirements and industry standards
- Engage in business/team meetings when necessary
- Assist with problem solving efforts to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices
- Know and practice all safety regulations and quality guidelines
- Perform work of an equal or lower classification
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED, recognizes International Diplomas (may need to be translated to English)
U.S. citizen or permanent residency status required
At least two years of assembly experience required in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to operate material handling vehicles (forklift), have good numeric, writing and reading ability and be able to respond to the needs of the operating departments
Must be able to work and communicate with peers
Must be able to adapt to production needs to satisfy customer demands
