We are seeking an Embedded Calibration Technician to join our team at Aldinger Co, a leading calibration services provider. Join our team and become a crucial part of our mission to provide accurate and reliable calibration services to our clients.
As an Embedded Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of calibrating various devices and instruments and performing quality calibrations in adherence to ISO17025 quality standards and procedures at our customer site. The ideal candidate will have experience in calibration procedures and a keen eye for detail.
Location: On-site at our customer site in Lewisville, TX, and occasionally at our branch office and at various customer sites in Dallas, TX as needed.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Complete accurate and timely calibrations at our customer site.
- Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation.
- Perform calibration of a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards.
- Working directly with the client throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to completion of the project, including good communication to provide client updates on services needed
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support.
- Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates

Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years + of experience in calibration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50lbs, climb, kneel, drive and stand for long periods of time
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel to the customer’s location in Lewisville, TX
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of principles, procedures, methods and techniques in metrology gained through education or professional experience
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration of equipment
- Experience working with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
- Associate's Degree in Engineering, Electronics or other Technical Fields
