To support our manufacturing and warehouse campus locations, the H-E-B Industrial Facility Services team provides maintenance, repair, and construction in ammonia refrigeration, plant utilities, automated systems, and building services.As a Stationary Systems Specialist, you'll operate and maintain multiple steam and refrigeration systems that serve H-E-B warehousing and manufacturing facilities.Once you're eligible, you'll become an Owner in the company, so we're looking for commitment, hard work, and focus on quality and Customer service. 'Partner-owned' means our most important resources--People--drive the innovation, growth, and success that makes H-E-B The Greatest Omnichannel Retailing Company.Do you have a:HEART FOR PEOPLE... skills to establish / maintain effective relationships?HEAD FOR BUSINESS... knowledge to serve as SME in collaboration with project teams?PASSION FOR RESULTS... drive to identify / research potential patterns and root causes?We are looking for:- a high school diploma, or equivalent- experience in ammonia refrigeration- RETA CIRO and 40-hour HAZMAT certificationsWhat is the work?Maintenance:- Manages reliability and appearance of assigned facilities; communicates status to leadership- Serves as an additional technical resource for solving complex technical problems; identifies / accesses other resources- Serves as subject matter expert to collaborate with project management teams managing various projects- Participates extensively in all facets of the Process Safety Management program- Operates as incident commander during HAZMAT situations- Researches potential patterns and root causes- Seeks opportunities to learn new ideas, methods, technologies- Champions continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance methods, procedures, equipment, and toolsManagement / Leadership:- Supervises lower-level operators- Shares expertise / experience with others- Role models service expectations for new Partners- Takes the lead in providing safety, SOP, and technical training to technicians and operations partners- Manages maintenance expense budget for assigned area; reports status to operations leadership- Supports leadership in developing expense and capital plans and budgetWhat is your background?- High school diploma, or equivalent- 10+ years of experience in ammonia refrigeration (preferred)- RETA CIRO certification (Required)- RETA III and IV modules completed- Maintain 40-hour HAZMAT certification and operate as incident commander in HAZMAT situations - Boiler operator's licenseDo you have what it takes to be a fit as an H-E-B Stationary Systems Specialist?- Advanced organization and time-management skills- Advanced written / verbal communication and presentation skills- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks / projects; attention to detail- Ability to speak and read EnglishCan you...- Work while standing, sitting, stooping, walking, bending, with hands over head, and in prone position- Climb; work from a 25-foot ladder and other elevated work platforms (manlift, scissor lift, catwalk, silo)- Occasionally lift and carry 90 lbs- Work in extreme temperatures ranging from -20 to 130 degrees- Obtain / maintain first grade stationary engineer license09-2018
