Salary: $35 to $42 per hour
Position Type: In-person (No hybrid or remote options available)

Work Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour first shift (Monday – Friday)

Role and Responsibilities:
- As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft. Your expertise will ensure that our avionics functionality meets the highest safety and operational standards.
- Running wires and cables, mounting antennas, and connecting instruments for navigation and engine monitoring.
- Installing radios, autopilots, and passenger entertainment systems, ensuring all configurations are accurately completed.
- Conducting thorough quality control analysis and diagnostics on avionics systems.
- Installing and testing advanced avionics equipment, confirming functionality before aircraft are returned to service.
- Performing intricate soldering and assembling electrical components with precision.
- Diagnosing discrepancies and troubleshooting issues effectively.
- Analyzing flight test data to identify malfunctions and enhance overall system operations.
- Maintaining organized records of all repairs and services in compliance with repair station guidelines.
- Coordinating seamlessly with the Avionics Manager, technicians, and the aircraft maintenance crew.
Avionics Technician Requirements:
- Proven experience working on at least two different airframes from various manufacturers (e.g., one Airbus and one Bell). Specific airframes must be included in your resume.
- Acceptable airframes include:
o Airbus: AS350, EC130, EC135
o Bell: 407, 206, 412
o Leonardo/Agusta: 109, 119
o Sikorsky: S76
o MD: 500
- Candidates with short-term job placements will not be considered.
- Must have experience in sheet metal work, extensive teardown, and completions.
- Certifications in electrical or aviation maintenance courses are preferred.
- Familiarity with systems such as NAV/COM, Autopilot, GPS, and RVSM.
- Knowledge of other aircraft systems, including hydraulics and flight controls.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
- Effective communication skills and a commitment to teamwork.
- Steady hands and exceptional eyesight.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
