Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) seeks one Intake Manager (JP# 009-2025) for its Houston Branch Office.
LSLA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit law firm and its mission is to protect and advance the civil rights of low-income Texans by providing advocacy, legal representation, and community education that ensure equal access to justice.
Summary of Responsibilities
Lone Star Legal Aid (LSLA) seeks two Intake Managers to assist in developing and supervising Intake throughout the LSLA service area, developing and supervising referral networking with other organizations, providing training for all staff who perform intake.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree and/or extensive experience required (Paralegal status and five or more years of experience), particularly with LSC and TAJF grant compliance.
Minimum Skills and Experience
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, analytical, technical, and organization skills. Strong commitment to LSLA’s mission to ensure equal justice. Proven ability to collaborate with a team, represent LSLA to a rich diversity of people, communities, and institutions, and develop creative solutions to complex problems. Lots of patience, energy, and enthusiasm.
Location: The successful applicant must have reliable transportation to travel throughout the counties served by LSLA.
