PTP is seeking a skilled Bilingual Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of all facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, conduct regular inspections. Additionally, the Lead Industrial Maintenance Techniciain will manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Supervision and Leadership:
Directs the work of maintenance staff, assigns tasks, and provides guidance and training.
· Maintenance and Repair:
Performs and oversees repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
· Preventative Maintenance:
Develops and implements preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
· Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:
Diagnoses and resolves complex equipment problems, using technical skills and knowledge.
· Safety:
Ensures adherence to safety regulations and protocols, including proper use of equipment and personal protective gear.
· Documentation and Reporting:
Records maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders, using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
· Training and Development:
Assists in training and development of maintenance staff, ensuring they are proficient in their roles.
· Inventory Management:
Oversees the ordering, stocking, and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
· Coordination and Communication:
Collaborates with other departments, such as production and engineering, to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
· Education and Experience: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with extensive experience in industrial maintenance.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
· Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team.
· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
· Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
· Safety Knowledge: Understanding of safety regulations and protocols.
Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to pass a tap measure test
