We are in search of a talented Dental Assistant who has experienced dental services with the ability to cross over to front office duties when not with a patient. Our office is a steady, growing general practice and we have a great positive team with lots to offer candidates! Our doctor values your time with family and friends, so we see patients Mon-Thurs one week and Tues-Fri the next week. Allowing a four-day work-free weekend every other week and no late evenings.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and ensure patient comfort
• Proficiency in taking dental radiographs, familiar with CBCT as well
• Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Undertake lab tasks as instructed
• Confidently communicate post-operative care instructions
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments for next treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records
- Active Texas license
- Nitrous monitoring a plus
