SUMMARY
To provide software testing, inventory control, accounts receivable, cash-balancing support for the Mac21 and Elite system customers
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned
- Answers all support calls from store personnel and internal MAC21 system users with a positive attitude, always providing the best possible level of support in a professional, courteous manner
- Documents all calls and the final resolution in the Help Desk software
- Performs all other functions required by members of the Application Support team to support the Mac21 application, and all other software installed at the stores
- Occasionally trains users on the proper way to use the Mac21 system, in accordance with predetermined procedures
- Researches, resolves, and responds to Mac21 technical problems and questions from our Corporate Office users and McCoy’s store employees
- Keeps up-to-date with procedural and technology changes in the company
- Participates in team projects and team meetings
- Attends relevant training sessions to enhance job performance
- Exercises proper phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Tests new software releases prior to their implementation for store use, documenting and reporting any problems to the development team
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures while carrying out the responsibilities of position
- Attends and participates in all department meetings and company-sponsored management programs as required

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from group managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability to utilize and maintain a strong working knowledge of Windows 10 Operating Systems, Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word & Outlook), Sharepoint, and Mac21
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Prior experience working in a McCoy’s retail store
WORK AVAILABILITY
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by management
- Must be regularly available and willing to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week, or such other hours per day or hours per week as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet business needs
- Must be available and willing to work such weekends and holidays as the employer determines are necessary or desirable to meet its business needs
- This position will provide on call support for after-hours service on a rotating basis, including Saturdays, and adhere to the McCoy on-call coverage guidelines
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- This position requires occasional travel with overnight stays to maintain an accurate understanding of the store operations, or to train new store employees on the software and proper procedures
- Must meet driver’s license requirements as required by the Company
- Must be able to legally obtain a rental vehicle in all states in which the company does business
- Must have current auto liability insurance
