- Independently perform engineering assignments for municipal projects.
- Lead multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments.
- Manage the quality, timeliness and financial aspects of projects.
- Lead design tasks on multiple municipal projects.
- Develop quality work products and designs under the mentorship of senior staff.
- Supervise and mentor engineers-in training, designers, and technicians.
- Understands engineering conditions and laws and permitting organizations such as city, state and county entities: is able to research, identify and apply permitting process and code requirements to engineering assignments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or science field.
- 5+ years design engineering experience working on municipal infrastructure projects, and/or county and state roadway projects.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
- Valid TX driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
