The Dell Medical School is looking for a Senior Recruiter.
Purpose
The Senior Recruiter provides recruiting expertise to support operations. They communicate and provide guidance on talent acquisition initiatives and programs to customers and conduct daily recruitment activities and metrics reviews. The Senior Recruiter supports the recruitment process with advertising, brand marketing, social media strategy sourcing for candidates, interview scheduling, job fair management, data visualization, and process improvement. A good understanding of healthcare regulations and the unique workforce dynamics present in a medical environment is required.
Responsibilities
Performs candidate and client related recruitment services to deliver quality candidates for the institution by maintaining a high volume and/or high complex number of positions under recruitment.
Identifies, develops, and assesses candidate pools for vacancies by utilizing various sourcing strategies and techniques.
Ensures that qualified candidates are identified for posted vacancies and completes the necessary transfer of materials for the new hire to the onboarding team.
Maintains strong relationships with institutional leadership to ensure a clear understanding of Dell Medical School direction and remains informed on the cutting edge in matching applicants to institutional needs.
Serves as a subject matter expert and provides training to new hiring managers, recruiters, sources, and screeners, as requested.
Plans and attends job fairs, meetings, seminars, workshops, and/or conferences as requested.
Identifies issues and possible solutions with current applicant tracking system (ATS), and assists with testing fixes or modifications when they are being implemented.
Identifies compensation or HR policy issues that are a hindrance to hiring and/or retention efforts and notifies the appropriate HR area to identify potential solutions.
Serves as the project lead for special projects and/or committee lead within the department as requested.
Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency while supporting department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor, and resource to other HR colleagues.
Adheres to internal controls and reporting structure.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Five (5) years recruitment experience with a minimum of 2 (two) years in a hospital, health system, academic medical center, or health-related institution. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Proficient HR professional.
Knowledge of Human Resources and employment law.
Strong demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
Proven track record of working collaboratively.
Ability to deal with difficult customers to gain consensus.
Strong analytical skills including understanding of recruitment metrics, problem solving skills and ability to provide options for daily recruitment challenges.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work. Progressive Human Resources management competencies.
Competent use of personal computers and general office applications, including Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional HR certification.
Salary Range
$78,000+ depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position; hybrid work is expected with limited on-site work.
Standard office environment and equipment.
Requires occasional travel to local, state, and national meetings.
