Passion for our mission and vision is required! This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will guard and supervise company grounds to prevent theft, violence, or other loss of company property. Tours premises, monitors grounds via surveillance equipment and via guard stations. Greets and directs visitors, provides temporary visitor IDs, and maintains a visitor’s log. Responds to security breaches and prepares and files reports describing incidents, accidents, or intruders. Incumbents in this position do not carry a firearm while on duty. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform responsibilities as identified by Security Management and Security Officer Lead in the conduct of guard posts, i.e. control access to the site via Visitor Management System, respond to inquires and issues at guard posts, understand and execute all post orders assigned to guard position. Support special events, emergent activities and ad hoc assignments as identified and assigned by Security Management.
