Purpose
Leads the OnRamps Student Support Services team in successfully developing and implementing academic and enrollment policies and student advising systems that support OnRamps students.
Responsibilities
Leads the OnRamps Student Support Services team, including goal setting, policy making, action planning, compliance, and operating principles and practices. Provides guidance and coaching, allocates and oversees work, manages work schedules, and promotes employee development using proven methods.
Leads and manages ongoing successful implementation and facilitation of student services related to FERPA compliance, academic integrity, student accommodations, and other programmatic efforts to support OnRamps students.
Leads and manages the development of system-level support to effectively advise OnRamps students in navigating academic policies and procedures related to transfer credit, credit applicability, and other required processes.
Manages the development and implementation of academic policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, Texas Education Code, and Texas Administrative Code in K12 and higher education.
Supports and engages in designated special projects as assigned that support the mission and strategic direction of OnRamps as an organization.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree
7+ years leadership experience in K-12 or higher education environment.
Knowledge of university, state, and federal policy related to dual enrollment and distance education.
Experience providing support or advising to high school or college students.
Demonstrated success in leadership of a team.
Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
Experience developing and integrating continuous improvement processes using a data-driven approach.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
Doctoral degree
Experience using a student information system, learning management system, or customer relationship management platform.
Experience using a customer support ticketing system.
Experience using Smartsheet or other Project Management system.
Experience developing and integrating continuous improvement processes.
Salary
$90,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
Eligible for hybrid telework.
May require evening and weekend work during intense cycles of work.
May work around standard office conditions
