What You’ll Do
Support Evaluation & Assessment Activities
- Oversee medical student evaluation compliance and maintain the curriculum evaluation calendar.
- Manage the course and clerkship review process, ensuring smooth implementation and tracking.
- Build and maintain evaluation forms and tools in the medical school’s evaluation system.
- Coordinate communication between curriculum coordinators and faculty on evaluation and assessment needs.
Faculty Development & Academic Program Support
- Promote and organize faculty development events such as Medical Education Grand Rounds and Leadership Conversations.
- Secure CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits for faculty development programs.
- Develop and distribute evaluation summaries for faculty development sessions.
- Maintain and update faculty resources and program web pages.
Program & Event Coordination
- Plan and execute academic events, including the annual Educational Innovation, Research & Awards Symposium.
- Manage communications and operations for the Academy of Distinguished Educators.
- Oversee budgeting, fundraising, publicity, and award distribution for academic initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the student Peer Tutoring Program and faculty research initiatives.
- Assist with exam proctoring and special academic projects as needed.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of experience in administration, academic coordination, or project management.
- Strong skills in MS Office, Smartsheet, and Excel to manage schedules, track data, and generate reports.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills—able to work across departments and with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing needs in a dynamic academic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience interacting with faculty, students, and academic leadership preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with program evaluation, faculty development, and higher education administration preferred.
- Prior experience in medical education or healthcare-related academic programs is a plus but not required.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events.
- Some travel may be needed for conferences or professional development
Salary Range
$60,000+ depending on qualifications
