Requirements: Define requirements, write scope, define risk, document & track budget, understand how the risk becomes an issue and the difference between a risk & issue, escalation items, running meetings, end to end project financials, work with colleagues to get in line with company processes & procedures, drive governance, assist with scorecards, executive presence, creating a project charter, Waterfall project management (creating schedule, organizing team, putting budget together), working a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment with Waterfall Project Management deliverables and Agile delivery
Technologies: JIRA, MS Excel (project Schedules), PowerPoint (steering committee presentations), SharePoint (documenting project deliverables), OneDrive (documenting project notes), CAPPM/Clarity (resource demand & allocation)
Soft Skill Requirements: organized, structured and disciplined, detail orientated, executive presence
Banking project experience is strongly preferred and sometimes required
Challenges: Capacity planning completed by senior leadership and Portfolio Managers. Projects pending approval for short term durations based on the duration of the pre-discovery, discovery, implementation phases and project change requests (PCR). Heavy reliance on integration partners and their rotating staff and contractors working in India. Working within a newly established Enterprise Change Project Management Office.
