As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, building relationships, and enhancing our market presence. You will play a crucial role in securing new projects and partnerships, ensuring that our mission to enhance communities through infrastructure is realized.
Position Overview:
The Business Development Manager will develop and implement strategies to expand our client base and foster long-term relationships with stakeholders. You will identify business opportunities, develop proposals, and orchestrate presentations that effectively communicate the value of our services. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including working with potential clients, contractors, and governmental agencies.
- Develop and nurture client relationships, understanding their needs and how Civilitude can provide solutions.
- Prepare and present proposals, including cost estimates and project timelines, to prospective clients.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends and potential areas for business growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and implement business development strategies and metrics for success.
- Participate in industry networking events, conferences, and community engagements to enhance Civilitude's profile in the industry.
- Work closely with project managers and technical teams to align business strategies with operational capabilities.
- Monitor and report on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development within the engineering, construction, or architectural industries.
- Proven track record of successfully securing new business and managing client relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Familiarity with civil engineering practices and the infrastructure industry is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
