DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY
We are searching for an experienced, collaborative and bilingual Human Resources Manager who will support Customer Fulfillment organization, based at our Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in Mesquite, TX. This role will partner with site leaders to develop actions and solutions regarding engagement, retention, talent development/training and recruitment. The HR Manager will also be responsible for driving strategic initiatives aligned with our People Excellence Strategy and enhancing the associate experience by evaluating, planning and implementing programs and practices resulting in a positive impact. Being a collaborative partner, the successful candidate will also provide consultation regarding associate relations, performance and compensation management and policy interpretation. Being bilingual in English/Spanish is a requirement.
CORE FUNCTIONS
- Serve as an HR business partner to various levels of the management teams for the west coast Customer Fulfillment locations.
- Implement and communicate company-wide initiatives and changes.
- Provide counsel on matters of employee and organizational policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Partner with leadership teams in developing, implementing, and tracking initiatives across the organization.
- Drive organizational effectiveness and change initiatives to ensure the organization has the right people, right structure, and right processes to drive short and long-term business success.
- Develop and implement plans and programs to enhance employee engagement.
- Partner with the leadership team and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase retention.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues.
- Provide performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.
- Evaluate reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
- Monitor critical HR KPI's and ensure action to mitigate areas of concern.
- Manage performance of HR team (as the team grows) and drive accountability around goals and developing out HR talent.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is required.
- 5+ years of broad HR experience is required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role is required.
Required Licenses
- HRCI/SHRM certification preferred.

- Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations governing HR programs.
- Broad knowledge of all HR disciplines with a demonstrated in-depth knowledge in employee relations and talent management.
- Demonstrated ability to build consultative, collaborative relationships with managers and co-workers at all levels.

- Demonstrated ability to identify and assess human capital needs and work collaboratively to develop and implement value-added solutions.

Travel
- Occasional travel may be required; up to 10%. Locations include Laredo, TX, Salt Lake City, UT, Springfield, MO among others.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- This position is subject to sedentary work; exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involved sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally.
